We did it! (And then some!) Thank you!
When we launched this Kickstarter campaign, we set a goal of $51,000.
That number wasn't chosen because it represented everything we wanted to do. It represented the minimum we needed to get Into the Unknown out into the world.
What happened next honestly exceeded every expectation we had.
Thanks to 675 backers, the campaign raised a whopping $105,914, more than doubling our original goal!
We're overwhelmed. We're grateful. And we're excited about what comes next!
During the last month, we've heard from paramedics, EMTs, firefighters, dispatchers, nurses, physicians, first responder families, longtime Emergency! fans, and people who simply believe that these stories matter.
Many of you shared the campaign with your departments, coworkers, friends, and families. Some of you backed the film on the very first day. Others joined us in the final hours. Every one of you helped make this possible.
Most importantly, you've given this film the opportunity to reach audiences around the world.
The additional support raised through this campaign will help us expand screenings, increase outreach, connect with more communities, and bring the film to 80+ countries.
For years, this project was an idea.
Then it became a production.
Then a finished film.
Today, because of you, it becomes a release.
There is still a tremendous amount of work ahead of us, but thanks to your support, we're beginning that next and final chapter with momentum and confidence.
From Randy Mantooth, Kevin Tighe, Steve Buscemi, Dr. Richard Carmona, Baxter Larmon, Tonya Mantooth, Steve Martin, Tom Putnam, and everyone who helped make Into the Unknownpossible:
Thank you.
We'll have more updates soon regarding rewards, screenings, release plans, and what comes next. That's also when we'll get your t-shirt sizes for those of you who selected t-shirts as rewards!
For now, we're simply grateful.
Thank you for helping us bring this one home.
